Yorkshire Yarn Fest this weekend
We’ll be at the In Person Yorkshire Yarn Fest on Saturday (28th May), situated on the outskirts of York.
The event starts at 10am. You can buy a ticket on the door (after 12pm) which will be £7 so it’s cheaper to buy your ticket in advance online! Entry for children under 18 is free. The timed entry for tickets is just a guide for entry, and you can stay all day until the festival finishes at 4pm! There are refreshments and lunch available onsite, as well as free car parking.
If you require us to bring anything specific for you to this event, then please let us know by Thursday evening (26th May) as we will be packing the van next day.
Queen’s Jubilee holiday
From 2nd June – 5th June 2022 there will be a celebration of HM Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne with an extended Bank Holiday!
Unfortunately, we have already sold out of the limited edition Herdy Jubilee teatowels – they all sold in a matter of hours of going online! However, there are still other Herdy teatowels to buy online or in the Shop.
Our Shop will be open on the holiday Thursday (2nd June) and on Saturday (4th), but closed on the holiday Friday (3rd). For details check here.

Knitting Workshop
Our Fairisle Knitting workshop held last Sunday, with Jaki Bogg from Hot Butter Yarns, received very positive feed from attendees. So we will be organising some more workshops in the not to distant future. Keep an eye out and book early as there are limited places on each course.
