Win Wool Show Tickets
We have a pair of tickets to give away for the Southern Wool Show in Newbury, Berkshire!
Last year it was a very popular show. This year it is a two day event on August 31 and September 1.
To enter comment on our Southern Wool Show ticket competition post on Instagram or Facebook, saying you wish to go. Entries close on Wednesday 31st July 2019.

Upcoming Events
We will be at Ampthill near Bedford for Fibre East this coming weekend. A great show for celebrating British Fibre and Craft.
The weekend after we will be at a brand new Wool Show – WoolNEess Festival, right in the centre of Newcastle on Tyne, next to the Rail and Metro station!
Then, the weekend after that, we are at York Auction Centre for the British Wool Show. Phew!
New Aran Sweater pattern
A traditional Fisherman’s Rib Sweater with raglan sleeves in Wensleydale Sheep Shop Aran Wool.
On the left of the picture is a vintage Fisherman’s rib knit sweater in Herdwick wool – knit by my Mum for my Dad – pulled out and re-knit when the elbows went thin. On the right the jumper recreated in Wensleydale worsted spun Aran, a bit softer than Herdwick but should be as long lasting.
The pattern, called Michael, is now available to buy and download online. You can also buy in Store and at the Wool Shows we are attending over the next few weeks.
