Summer Wool Festival
Only a week to go until the Summer Wool Festival in Ampthill, Bedfordshire! This is the second year for this show that replaces the popular now defunct Fibre East (in same location).
Let us know if you need anything bringing to this show, otherwise we’ll see you there.
As is now usual, advance purchase tickets are cheaper than those bought on the door.
Also, in August we will be at a brand new wool show, the North East Wool Show in Newcastle upon Tyne! Again purchase tickets in advance to get them at the best price.
Herdy commemorates the NHS
The popular Cumbria based Herdy brand have produced a wonderful fun celebration of the 75th anniversary of the National Health Service (NHS).
We have a few of the limited edition Tea Towels and Mugs available. Get them while you can. Even better, some of the purchase price goes to an NHS charity, so we can say thank you!
We were exhibited at the Great Yorkshire Show
Did you see our Wensleydale knitwear at the Great Yorkshire Show? Our garments were on the ‘Sheep to Chic’ fashion show and also displayed and available for purchase on the British Wool stand.
You can get downloadable patterns to knit these (and other) garments from our website, designed specifically for our Wensleydale wool .
