3. Product information

Goods are priced in British Pounds sterling (GBP).

All ‘in stock’ items will normally be dispatched on the next business day.

Where a number of items are ordered, we may dispatch these in separate packages.

Back order goods are usually dispatched within seven working days. However, where this is the case, we will contact you to advise delivery date and allow a refund if required.

Some items are made to order. For these please email or call us to get an expected delivery date.

Any published product dimensions are approximate.

For orders with delivery addresses outside the UK, it is your responsibility to check your local country Import regulations/restrictions prior ordering, to avoid any delivery issues. We reserve the right not to ship particular items if we become aware of any restrictions that would result in the order being returned to us by Customs.

While the colour reproduction of each product on this website is a close representation, variations in colour caused by the differences in browser software or device hardware may occur.

Downloadable products, such as Knitting Patterns etc., are the Intellectual Property of Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Shop and are sold for personal use only. You have the right to download these three times. It is your responsibility to ensure that you save any downloaded items to a device and location (folder) from where you can use or print it. Commercial use or copying requires our explicit prior permission.

We offer a Flat Rate delivery charge per order, based upon Royal Mail standard small parcels prices and shipping zones. If your single order is over 2kg (4.4 lbs) in weight (UK) / 1.5 kg (3.30 lbs) for International, or permitted dimensions, we may split your order and dispatch items separately, or contact you regarding shipping options and possible additional charges.

If only ordering small amounts or small items we will refund any excess postage charges, at time of dispatch. Refunds will be made back to your chosen payment method.

Any offer of Free Delivery when purchasing over a certain amount (e.g. £50 in UK) is subject to an order weight limit (as above) and does not apply to some Clearance items.

For international orders (where we have not charged VAT), local import duties and/or taxes may be payable, over which we have no control. You may be contacted by Customs or Courier for payment prior delivery.

4. Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel the purchase of any goods without having to give a reason at any time within the “cooling off period” of seven working days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods.

If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us (in a saleable condition) to our Shop contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the contract.

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation.

You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of any of the following goods:

  • for the supply of goods the price of which is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the retailer.
  • for the supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

5. Notices

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase.
