It’s time for Yarndale!

Yes, this weekend we are at Yarndale again! The Festival of Yarn and Woolly Creativity at Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales.

Tickets are available on their website, with time slots to help stagger entry, reduce queues and manage the flow into this popular Event. Tickets will be available on the door from 12.30pm onwards on both days, should capacity allow.

We hope to see you there – you will find us at Stand G10.

Masham Sheep Fair

The weekend afterwards we are at Masham Sheep Fair at the Craft Market in the Town Hall. This event is free to enter, though Event Programmes can be bought in aid of local charities, such as Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Come along and see us, we are in the room directly on the right as you enter the Town Hall.

During these events our Shop will be open, as usual, during normal business hours.

Knit with our yarn in Knitting Magazine

In this months Knitting Magazine – designed by Bronagh Miskelly, and inspired by Vivienne Westwood, is the beautifully fitted Bessie cardigan, which is knit in our pure Wensleydale Aran Marl. The pattern is in the magazine, the wool is available on our website or in our Shop (or at Shows!).

Bracken Jumper pattern

Newly added to our website is a revised version of our Bracken Jumper pattern, ready for you to purchase and download. Knit in our Wensleydale DK yarn it is a round neck, long sleeve jumper with a chevron design.

Printed copies are available from our Shop and at Wool Shows.

Christmas Sock Yarn

We still have some WYS Signature Sparkle Christmas yarn – Nutcracker, along with a couple of their other 4 Ply Signature Christmas yarns. There is free Alexander sock pattern designed by Winwick Mum with every ball of the Nutcracker. Get them while you can.
