Southern Wool Show
This weekend we are at Southern Wool Show in Newbury, Berkshire! This is always a very popular event, so make sure you have booked your tickets in advance if you are coming! If you pay on the door, the cost will be higher than buying a ticket in advance, and there’ll probably be more queuing.
The van is packed and we’ll be setting off first thing Friday.
Unravel… Autumn
Next weekend we will be at Unravel… Autumn in Farnham, Surrey. The second of the renowned yarn festival for this year. It will take place Friday 8th & Saturday 9th September 2023.
Again tickets best purchased in advance!
Later in the month we will be at Yarndale and Masham Sheep Fair!
During all these events our Shop will be open, as usual, during normal business hours.
WYS Nutcracker Christmas Yarn
Its that time of year again! Just released this week, by West Yorkshire Spinners, is the new Signature Sparkle Christmas yarn – Nutcracker, which we currently have in stock, along with a couple of their other 4 Ply Signature Christmas yarns. There is free Alexander sock pattern designed by Winwick Mum with every ball of the Nutcracker.
Moorland Shawl kit
Also new this week is our Moorland Shawl kit modelled here by Natasha on the moors above Arkengarthdale. A beautiful warm triangular shawl knitted in pure Wensleydale 4 ply. Designed by Helen James.

In time for Autumn, we have our new Nancy Sleeveless Fairisle Jumper kit. Knit in pure Wensleydale DK yarn. Created by award winning designer Helen Connington. Kits are available in the colours shown but if you want something different get in touch.
